Take Two is an immersive deep-listening night consisting of two elements: an uninterrupted, high-quality playback of a seminal jazz album, followed by a live, modern-day reinterpretation by New York City’s finest musicians.

Our third event will feature In a Silent Way, the 1969 album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Miles Davis. This was Miles' first album to feature a full-blown electric approach, which straddles the line between rock and jazz.

The live reinterpretation will be presented by Spencer Zahn with an incredible 6-piece band in tow. Spencer recently released his critically-acclaimed debut LP, People of Dawn, on Double Denim.

Take Two will be held in a private loft space in Bushwick featuring vintage Klipsch loudspeakers and comfortable seating arrangements.
