Unheard is a music series that explores listening, curiosity, and spontaneity through collaborative improvisation. An artist-in-residence leads three in-the-round performances throughout the year featuring rotating groups of multi-instrumentalists.
For his second go around, Photay invites the electronic producer and Leaving Records alum who is redefining the piano through digital manipulation, Celia Hollander, and on winds, the shapeshifting sound creator who incorporates historical and early music instruments in the intersection of experimental, classical, and jazz: Robbie Lee.
Sounds like: Aphex Twin remixing Debussy and/or Philip Glass experimenting with flutes.
This edition of Unheard will be free and open to the public at Banker’s Anchor next to The Lot Radio.
The exact location and schedule will be shared with ticket holders in the confirmation email.
