Unheard is a music series that explores listening, curiosity, and spontaneity through collaborative improvisation. An artist-in-residence leads three in-the-round performances throughout the year featuring rotating groups of multi-instrumentalists.
For the first installment, Spencer Zahn invites Stuart Bogie and Morgan Guerin, two incredible instrumentalists who boast an impressive lineage of music royalty through their previous work with Arcade Fire, Angelique Kidjo, Esperanza Spalding, and Tyshawn Sorey, to name a few.
Spencer has described the trio as “a modular chamber group of sorts” with Bogie on clarinet and sax, Guerin on drums and horn, and Zahn on bass and keys.

Unheard will be held in a private loft in Greenpoint featuring a vintage 4-point Klipsch sound system and comfortable seating arrangements.
